This notice explains the account, seller, marketplace and diagnostic data Plant Market uses to operate the service.

What Plant Market stores

Account information, portfolio and watchlist data, seller inventory, imported or connected marketplace orders, shipping information, integration metadata and billing identifiers needed to operate the service.

Marketplace customer data

When a seller connects a supported marketplace, Plant Market may process customer names, shipping addresses, contact information and order details solely to provide order, fulfillment, shipping and seller analytics features. Customer data is isolated to the seller account and is not used to build public plant-price observations.

Credentials

Marketplace and shipping access tokens are stored server-side in encrypted form. Browser-visible Supabase credentials are limited to the public client key and Row Level Security remains the authorization boundary for user data.

Beta diagnostics

During beta, Plant Market records limited in-product usage events such as onboarding completion, imports, marketplace connections and use of seller workflows. Authenticated application errors may also send the current page, app version, browser/viewport details and an error reference to the private Admin issue queue. These diagnostics are used to improve reliability and understand whether beta features are useful.

Optional product emails

If you explicitly opt in, Plant Market stores your email subscription preference and consent time so we can send occasional beta updates, product news and market research. The signup checkbox is optional and you can unsubscribe from Account at any time.

Billing

Payment-card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by Plant Market. Plant Market stores Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and plan status.

Your choices

Account settings provide data export, email subscription controls, marketplace disconnection and account deletion. Deleting an account removes Plant Market data and cancels a linked Stripe subscription; it does not delete accounts held with Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Palmstreet, Shippo or other third parties.
